Ambassador Guillermo Valles is a career diplomat with over 40 years of professional experience, particularly in the field of trade and development. He graduated from the School of Law of the Universidad de la República in Uruguay with the title of Doctor
in Diplomacy. He has served in several bilateral and multilateral diplomatic missions in Latin American, European, Asian and U.N. posts. He held several relevant political positions including that of Deputy Foreign Minister of Uruguay.
