On 21 May, 2025, the Friends of Multilateralism Group (FMG) organized the 3rd session of its High-Level Dialogue Series on The Future of WTO Reform: Dialogue with Arancha González. Victor Do Prado, FMG Member and former Director of Council and Trade Negotiations Committee at the WTO moderated the meeting.

 

At the meeting, Arancha González, Dean of the Paris School of International Affairs (PSIA) at Sciences Po, and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain shared her views on the challenges brought by the current international situation and geopolitical influence to the WTO and future pathways for the WTO reform etc., and answered relevant questions from participants.

 

Over 70 participants joined the session, including members of FMG, Ambassadors/DPRs of WTO members, representatives from related international organizations, and experts from renowned think tanks and universities etc.
