On 23 October, 2025, the Friends of Multilateralism Group (FMG) organized FMG High-level Dialogue with Amb. (Dr.) Amina Mohamed， Founder and President of the Trade Negotiations and Investment Forum, Former Cabinet Secretary in the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of Kenya, Former Ambassador&Permanent Representative of Kenya to the WTO. Patrick Low, FMG Member , Former Chief Economist of WTO, moderated the meeting.
At the meeting, Amb. Amina shared her perspectives on key issues including the WTO reform, restoring its negotiating function, the dispute settlement mechanism, and Special and Differential Treatment (S&DT). She also answered relevant questions from the participants.
Around 60 participants joined the session, including members of FMG, Ambassadors/DPRs of WTO members, representatives from related international organizations, and experts from renowned think tanks and universities etc.
