Professor Xiaopeng Yin has more than 30 years experience in academies. He joined the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in 2007 under the title of “International Matured Scholar”as a Canadian citizen. Since 2009, Xiaopeng Yin is the Chairman of Department of International Trade in UIBE; the Deputy Dean of Research Institute for Global Value Chains (RIGVC) since 2019, and Dean of RIGVC since 2023. He has co-established several most important academic associations in international trade in China (IEFS China, CTRG, GL-TriCITPN, RCIE-China, AES) as the key role there, and served as the secretary-in-general, and vice president therein since 2008. He is also appointed as the senior research fellow in various universities in Canada, UK, the Netherland, and China. He is/was the associate editor, guest editors, the members of editorial boards and referee of many decent academic journals in economics and international trade. He has been published numerous articles in various academic journals on international trade, and has provided consulting services to various governments and some top MNE. Prior to UIBE, Xiaopeng Yin was the assistant professor in the Concordia University and University of Windsor (tenure track) in Canada since 1999. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the McGill University
