On 18th June, 2026, the Friends of Multilateralism Group (FMG) organized a webinar on the new book “How to Win a Trade War” co-authored by Chad Bown, Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) and Soumaya Keynes, economics columnist for the Financial Times. Mercedes Araoz, FMG Board Member, former Vice President of Peru, moderated the meeting.
During the session, Chad Bown presented the background and main content of the book and answered relevant questions from the participants.
Over 50 participants joined the session, including members of FMG, Ambassadors/DPRs of WTO members, representatives from related international organizations, and experts from renowned think tanks and universities etc.
