On 28 Sept, FMG held an online internal briefing on UNCTAD’s recent report “Magic DataBase of Industrial Subsidies” (https://www.oecd.org/en/data/dashboards/magic-database-industrial-subsidies.html). This session was moderated by Gabrielle Marceau, FMG member and former legal adviser at the WTO.
Julia NIELSON, Deputy Director for Trade and Agriculture, OECD and Jehan SAUVAGE, Policy Analyst in the Trade and Agriculture Directorate of the OECD introduced the report. Then Prof. CUI Fan, Professor in International Trade, the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) China, and Dr. LI Yuankun LI, Assistant Research Fellow, Institute of World Economics and Politics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences shared their comments as discussants.
