On May 29th, 2019, the Friends of Multilateralism Group (FMG) has co-organized with the World Economic Forum (WEF) a brainstorming dinner titled “China’s Position of WTO Reform-From an Academic Perspective” in Geneva. Professor TU Xinquan, Dean of China Institute of WTO Studies of the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) of China, shared his insights on China’s Position on WTO Reform, particularly on China’s Proposal on WTO Reform tabled on May 13th 2019. FMG member Mr. Stuart Harbinson and EU Ambassador Mr. Marc VANHEUKELEN acted as discussants.


Participants include FMG and FFMG members, and ambassadors or deputies of ten delegations from both developed and developing countries.
