On 29 September 2020, FMG participated in Geneva Trade Week hosted by the Geneva Trade Platform and organized a webinar titled “WTO: Back to Basics?”. Stuart Harbinson from FMG moderated the webinar.
The speakers are FMG members, including Daniel Crosby, partner in King & Spalding’s International Trade practice and manager of their Geneva office; Bernard Hoekman, Professor and Director of Global Economics at the European University Institute in Florence; Eunice Huang, head of Google’s trade policy in the Asia-Pacific region and Google’s engagement with the WTO; and Lu Xiankun, Co-organizer of FMG and Professor at several Chinese and European universities and think tanks. They shared their insights and suggestions on the challenges the WTO is facing.
The speakers interacted with the audience and answered their questions online.
