On 11th June 2020, the Friends of Multilateralism Group (FMG) and The Punta del Este Group (PEG) co-organized a virtual meeting on the WTO negotiation of fishery subsidies.
H.E. Ambassador Santiago Wills, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Colombian to the WTO and Chair of the Fishery Subsidies Negotiations, briefed the two groups on the state of play of this negotiation.
Members of FMG and PEG and representatives of the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and the Pew Charitable Trusts (PEW) participated at this meeting.
