On 6 March, FMG organized a webinar to discuss the Panel Report (WT/DS623/R) on Tax Credits aspects of the US IRA. This webinar was moderated by Gabrielle Marceau, FMG member and former legal adviser at the WTO.
At this session, Deepak Raju, counsel at the Geneva office of Sidley Austin; Geraldo Vidigal, Associate Professor at the University of Amsterdam (UvA); Gary Horlic, former International Trade Counsel at the U.S. Senate Finance Committee; Nicolas Kohler-Suzuki, advisor for trade and economic security at the Jacques Delors Institute shared their insights on this panel report and answered the questions from the participants.
Over 40 participants including members of FMG, Ambassadors/DPRs of WTO members, representatives from related international organizations, and experts from renowned think tanks and universities etc. attended this session.
